AKV Jambo house laundry room

I've never actually done laundry on vacation before. We'll be staying in a value studio for 2 weeks over Christmas & I really don't want to pack 2 weeks worth of clothes. So, I'm wondering, how much do the machines cost per load in the DVC laundry rooms? Also, is there a room(s) located in the smaller wings where the value studios are? Or will I need to walk over to the back section of the resort where the other DVC rooms are? Thank you!

Laundry is free for DVC. Bring some detergent, though.

Laundry Room is on the 5th Floor Zebra Trail near room 5408. Values are along the Ostrich & Giraffe Trails.

There is a laundry app that will provide status of the machines. Don't know much about it, we stay in one bedrooms.

It's not an app, but a website. To see the status of the machines on the 5th floor of Jambo House you have to select Kidani Village.

Definitely use the laundry view link above especially if your room is not close by. BTW at Laundry View the Jambo House 5th floor DVC laundry is under AKV Kidani, Jambo House. The Jambo House direct list is for the cash rooms where you have to pay to do the laundry.
