AKV, here we come. June 1-8 11/15.. Finally BACK!

Lynn, I think I feel the same way as you do when it comes to eating at Nine Dragons...I can get Chinese food any day at a local takeout place so I doubt we'll ever eat there.

Last year Chris wanted to try some of those games after SSE but I rushed him out of there :headache: This time we'll definitely have to stop and check them out :thumbsup2

I tried to post last night but got a message that the boards would be down for 2 hours. :headache: Looks like other people posted around the same time, so it must not have been very long. Oh well, sorry about that.

I wish I could say that I wrote a long dissertation about trigonometry, and that it would be all you would need to ace the course.....but, I wrote something like "Judy's gone to bed....all I can add is
surprised.gif
." Sorry I'm not much help!

Hey Lynn! Sorry to hear you're having a rough time trying to figure out that math problem lol :( awww... i'm of no help. I suck at Math and Kev helped me through all my classes and I don't remember any of it! I like your game face.. hahaha!!! Kev always loves to play those games when we get out of there... I always try to pry him out but he always finds another one to stop at!! argghh lol I agree with you about Nine Dragons.... at least you know now and it sounds like you almost ate everywhere at Epcot! that's crazy! :)

I took Pre-cal and calculus, but i can't for the life of me remember how to solve those (and its only been a few years!!) :(

Another good update! I've wondered about Nine Dragons. We try to eat at different restaurants on our trips, but it's hard to do when we love certain ones so much!

To answer your question, nope we didn't see any of the SM rehab! They kept that well hidden!

You completely lost me on the math stuff.

I've never eaten in the China pavilion. The only places I've tried are Mexico and Canada. Don't bother with Mexico. It used to be good but last time we went, the food had no taste and the service wasn't very good. :snooty: lol

It's been ages since I've done that type of math, and I have not retained any of it, so I'm no help.

I got a good chuckle out of the pictures from Spaceship Earth where it looks like part of Tim's head is cut off because the background of the images is overtaking the while color of his hat.

It's okay. HAHA, I know. They cut out the Phillies hat. haha.

Hi Lynn

I followed many of your TR. I have been off the boards as well but not because of something but my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer in Oct 2009, she was only 60. It stinks not having her here with me and to see the kids but I know she's watching us.

Anyway love your TR so far. Love your pictures. I think my favorite one from the rose garden is the one where the castle was in the background of a rose but it was blurry. Very pretty. I would blow that one up and frame it for sure.

I have never eaten in China either but we go to Japan every time we go to Disney. We actually just went in April this year and had the same cook as we did 6 years ago. He thought it was cool too.

Can't wait to hear more.

hi!. Aww, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. God Bless her.

Everybody loves that. I am going to frame it. It turned out great.

That is so cool. Tim wants to try Japan, but I am not a fan of that type of food either. I can be picky at times. It's because we have so many hibachis around here and seriously it is the same exact menu as Teppan Edo.

Great update,Lynn!! I agree with you--we liked Nine Dragons well enough, but I am not the biggest fan of Chinese food. I'll just let my boyfriend get the CS if he's craving it!

We tried the CS a while ago. It was very good. Yeah, if we are in the mood we will just go there and have it.

You're right. It is all the same stuff. Oh you guys should definitely play them. My favorite is the one with the senses.

LOL, it's okay, Glenn. My teacher emailed me back and told me not to stress because she will be in class early to help me with the problems. I will be fine once I know how to solve it.

Oh, it's okay. I will figure it out when I go to class tonight. Tim does, too. I normally want to leave, but this time, I thought I would try that one game. It was fun. I think I want to try the UK, but I am not sure.

I took Pre-cal and calculus, but i can't for the life of me remember how to solve those (and its only been a few years!!) :(

Another good update! I've wondered about Nine Dragons. We try to eat at different restaurants on our trips, but it's hard to do when we love certain ones so much!

It's okay, lol. I know what you mean. I don't want to give up the good restaurants for one that we may not like.

It's okay. Ew, I hear Mexico is awful. I don't like Mexican food to begin with.I will eat a taco, lol. Spicy food is just not my thing.

I love the Renaissance. I'm a sucker for Renaissance art. My fave movements in art are the classics. Then there's pop art. But I'm not one who loves modern art.

CONTINUED...

When we made it to Italy, I noticed my favorite photopass guy! The guy who will call your DH or BF the chief, an if you are the lady he calls you the Princess, lol. He is so cute and has been there for years. I love him, but I always forget his name. He will also tell you to show your piano when you smile.

Here is where he was taking pictures. With Dominique the Donkey, lol. That was what he called him.

When we made it to Japan, we walked around and took some pictures. We love walking around here.

IMG_7989.jpg

We then walked into the store to do the pick a pearl. It is an annual thing for us to do.

Tim took a picture of me picking it out, lol.

IMG_7993.jpg

Here it is!
IMG_7994.jpg

After we picked our pearl, we made it over to the international gateway. Donald Duck was hanging out over there, so we stopped for some pictures. This was taken with my camera.

IMG_7997.jpg

He pretended to play an instrument to the music that was playing. It was really cute.

IMG_7999.jpg

I love this one!
IMG_8002.jpg

We decided to walk over to the Yacht and Beach club to take the boat from there to DHS. It was so gorgeous out. Look at how lovely the scenery is over at the Boardwalk.

IMG_8003.jpg

awww Sea Breeze Point
IMG_8004.jpg

It was not even crowded over at DHS.
IMG_8005.jpg

We walked to TSM, to see how long that wait was. It was only 50 mins, so we decided to wait. We only waited maybe 30 mins, so it wasn't bad.
IMG_8006.jpg

the must take photo, lol.
IMG_8009.jpg

Tim whopped me, as always.
IMG_8011.jpg

and he made it on the list. He was the best that hour. I like the changes they made with the scores at the end.
IMG_8012.jpg

I love the changes overall. They added some stuff from TS3. Oh and in the new volcano game, there is a hidden mickey in the center of the volcano. Not sure if it was always there, but I found it.

After TSM, I went on TOT. Tim took some pictures while he waited.
IMG_8013.jpg

IMG_8014.jpg

and then I went on R&RC. I went through the single rider line, which was awesome. I waited like 10 minutes. That is the only good thing that comes out of having to go on the rides by myself.

IMG_8020.jpg

After that, we called it a night. We went back to the room and I had some flat bread. I love the Mara's Flat Bread.

Up next, Day 3! DHS rope drop!

I love the Renaissance. I'm a sucker for Renaissance art. My fave movements in art are the classics. Then there's pop art. But I'm not one who loves modern art.

That was my favorite time of art as well!

Wow, I got a little bit behind...stupid summer school lesson planning. Anyway, all caught up now. Love all your updates! You got some great pictures and I agree, the one with you two looking at each other is pretty cute.

I must really be in summer mode because looking at those American trivia questions...I think I only know a couple of them! :rolleyes1

Hope you figured out your math. I was good at trig in high school but now it's pretty much all gone.

That was my favorite time of art as well!

Me too! My poor theatre students hear it over and over again how great the Renaissance was for european theatre after the Middle Ages!! And the castles built in France during the Renaissance are breathtaking!! I think we must all be princesses at heart! ;)

Cute pics with Donald! It looks like it wasn't too crowded at all! TOT is our absolute favorite, I just love the music, the atmosphere and the storyline. Can't wait to get back on it!!!!

I love the color of the sky in that Rock n Roller Coaster picture.

Reading your posts keeps reminding me of things I want to do on our trip. I need to start making a list.

Cute pictures with the Italian donkey and Donald!

Such a lovely stroll around the Beach Club and Boardwalk!

I don't think I have ever seen a wait time of only 50 minutes for TSM -- you really did luck out on this trip! :goodvibes

406,000?? Who got that on TSM?? I'm lucky if I break 150,000! My arm hurts like crazy after that ride but I love it! I can't wait for TSM! Did they add any of the new characters to the ride? Can I shoot something at Lotso? :rotfl:

Cute pictures of Donald!! He's my favorite too :)

We then walked into the store to do the pick a pearl. It is an annual thing for us to do.

Annual!? Don't tell my daughters that!

I love this one!
IMG_8002.jpg

Donald is obviously smitten.

Tim whopped me, as always.
IMG_8011.jpg

I need Tim to tell me his secret. Heck, I need you to tell me your secret, for that matter....yours is a very respectable score!

I love the changes overall. They added some stuff from TS3. Oh and in the new volcano game, there is a hidden mickey in the center of the volcano. Not sure if it was always there, but I found it.

Was this a new game on the TSM ride? We didn't have a volcano game? :confused3

Great update, as always!

I've never notcied the Donkey before! I'm definitely going to have to take a picture with him next time.

Aww Donald is so cute. He's one of my favorites!

I loved it! I took Western Civ last semester and loved when we got to the Renaissance. Nope, no crowds for us. We were so lucky.

I agree with you on TOT!

I love the color of the sky in that Rock n Roller Coaster picture.

Reading your posts keeps reminding me of things I want to do on our trip. I need to start making a list.

Hahaha, yeah, start making that list!

I'm really enjoying your tr! Love your pictures!

Hi! Thank you and welcome on board.

Cute pictures with the Italian donkey and Donald!

Such a lovely stroll around the Beach Club and Boardwalk!

I don't think I have ever seen a wait time of only 50 minutes for TSM -- you really did luck out on this trip! :goodvibes

The lowest I have seen it was at like 80 mins when we go in May, lol.

I agree, it is a lovely stroll.

I can't wait to see the new changes to both ToT and TSM!

Well, the TOT may disappoint you. The new sound effects are really cool and the whole seeing your image on the doors before it opens, but wait till you see what they did on the sides of the ride before the doors open and you drop.

406,000?? Who got that on TSM?? I'm lucky if I break 150,000! My arm hurts like crazy after that ride but I love it! I can't wait for TSM! Did they add any of the new characters to the ride? Can I shoot something at Lotso? :rotfl:

HAHA, I know! We have to read the strategy guide over on the theme parks section. HAHA! No, Lotso is not there. They added in Trixie along with Rex. It took over the game with Bo. You shoot darts and you have to pop balloons, but the background is like a Dinosaur background with a volcano. That is where the hidden mickey is. You have to pop the balloon in the middle to see it.

Annual!? Don't tell my daughters that!

Donald is obviously smitten.

Was this a new game on the TSM ride? We didn't have a volcano game? :confused3

Great update, as always!

HAHA, I won't. You didn't see the part with Trixie and Rex?

I've never notcied the Donkey before! I'm definitely going to have to take a picture with him next time.

Aww Donald is so cute. He's one of my favorites!

It's a cute little display.

I found your TR. I am loving it. I love how you guys arent going all commando going from ride to ride your going at a nice pace and seeing so much more then a lot of poeple see.
