AKV, here we come. June 1-8 11/15.. Finally BACK!

That's awesome about the cruise/AKV vacation! I'm looking to go on a cruise around that time next year. Maybe we'll end up on the same one!! It all depends on what TA deals come out.

I would say the picture of you and Lotso is cute but...Lotso's a jerk. :snooty: :rotfl:

Great day 2 update so far! I love the MK. But can you believe I've never seen rope drop there??

Looks like you had a great Magic Kingdom morning! I also love the teacups...it is definitely a must-do for me! And I love the pics you can get with the blurry background :thumbsup2

I agree that the Fantasyland expansion is going to be amazing. I do think Toon Town is a good area for little ones, but I think the new Fantasyland will appeal to more people. With that said, I made DBF go through Toon Town on our last trip and we are 22!

I had no idea Ariel and Eric were meeting with people together. How cool!

The rope drop at MK is my absolute favorite. I almost tear up when I see it :)

I went on Space Mountain in March and it gave me a headache. Never going again.

Congrats on the cruise and concierge trip! Sounds like a total dream vacation! Woohoo!!!!! Wow, you were able to get on lots of rides that morning at MK without a wait! Love it! And I completely agree - your camera takes WAY better pictures than the photopass cameras do! They're gorgeous!!!! Can't wait for more!!!! :goodvibes

I am very excited that you are posting Day 2 updates at the exact time I have my lunch break for work!

I have never been on Space Mountain, and it is probably my most anticipated part of our trip to Disney in October. (Well... for the stuff we're doing at Disney, at least. I am possibly more excited for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at IOA!)

Well, glad I could give you something to do on your lunch break, haha. Oh gosh, I cannot wait to go to WWoHP! Space Mountain is fun. When we went on in January, it was not as rough, but because I had my hair up, it bothered my head more.

oh, I love when I log on and get new updates! Great PP pics, although after seeing the movie, I'm a little surprised that Lotso is the new meet and greet character. As always, great pics. Fun to see a pic of Ariel and Eric in their new home!

I know! He is adorable, but after seeing the movie, it's hard to think he is really cute. I love that Ariel and Eric are together.

:woohoo: for your Dream cruise AND concierge!! I was on the Wonder in 2007 and it was such an amazing and beautiful ship! Such a great time!!! And I LOVED CC :thumbsup2 I have seen some of the pictures of the Dream and it is so elegant....love the slide :cool1: and the rooms are so cool!! I had a veranda in my stateroom but I think I would be just fine with the porthole....save some money and they are cute!! :goodvibes Yeah Nassau is not for me :lmao: I did the Dolphin Swim (not the one booked through the ship...I booked directly so that I could do the swim not just the meet.) You are right to stay on the ship...there is so much to do.
Love your PP pictures....all of the Ariel's always look so different!! :confused3
I thought SM was smoother!! The one that hurts me is RNRRC my poor head! :rotfl2:

Tracy

I love the Wonder, too! Did you see how big the portholes are on the Dream? You could sit in it. If my hair was not up, then the ride would not have bothered me so much. It was fine when I went on it in January.

Another GREAT update!!! I love the MK opening show! We fight our way up to the front too ;)

OMG thank you, thank you for posting the Ariel's world pic!!!! I am SOOO excited about the expansion! I agree (and remember the Full House episode ) about Toon Town. Sad to see it go, but excited for the future!!

It is the best rope drop. I love those episodes of Full House.

Cute photopass pics!! I think that Tim is making a Donald face? :P

HAHA! Thanks.

Great day 2 update so far! I love the MK. But can you believe I've never seen rope drop there??

Jenny, you must go! I hope you get a good deal. Oh, I know. I don't think I care for him that much, haha.

What! Do rope drop! It is the best one.

Looks like you had a great Magic Kingdom morning! I also love the teacups...it is definitely a must-do for me! And I love the pics you can get with the blurry background :thumbsup2

Hi! Thanks. HAHA, we go through Toon Town all the time, but we did not this trip. We are the biggest kids when we go to Disney.

Aww, they were so cute.

The rope drop at MK is my absolute favorite. I almost tear up when I see it :)

I went on Space Mountain in March and it gave me a headache. Never going again.

Was you hair up? I have crazy heavy hair, so that was why it bothered me.

I know what you mean. It's like a happy feeling when you see that show.

:goodvibes

Yeah! The park was not crowded at all! I think m camera picked up the colors better in the Ariel picture.

Thanks! We are so looking forward to that trip.

hum.... I don't remember how my hair was. Propably down since it was cold.

Oh and I got the VB email too, so I had to order a hipster in Carnaby for our trip. I haven't had Vera Bradley in ages (I mean years - like when they had French Blue and Provincial Red!!!) so it's going to be fun discovering the new styles and colors again!!! That was a pretty good sale!

We waited maybe 10 minutes. While waiting, I noticed some signs that are posted. I love this one!! Do you know what it says?
IMG_7840.jpg

I'm pretty sure it is "Oh I see you", right?

Awww I just love the MK opening show. It makes me cry :sad1:

I love the signs by the Jungle Cruise. I've seen some others but never the two you posted. They took me a few mins to figure out :confused3 :rotfl2:

Great picture with you, Ariel and Eric! :thumbsup2

I loveee the MK rope drop :goodvibes It's the best one.

Awesome wait times, I can't believe after the rides you did SM was only 5 minutes

While I'm sad to see Toontown go, I'm excited for the Fantasyland expansion. I'm interested in seeing what the Little Mermaid attraction is going to be like! And the Beauty & the Beast restaurant, of course!

I love the pics of you and Ariel! I don't think I've ever seen Ariel & Eric do meet-and-greets before, how cool!

Jenny, you must go! I hope you get a good deal. Oh, I know. I don't think I care for him that much, haha.

What! Do rope drop! It is the best one.

It all depends on the deal. Last year they ran a $25/night/person deal for some of the cruises so as soon as I see one for spring next year (fingers crossed) I'm jumping on it! I am dying to go on a cruise. Have you ever been on DCL?

I know, I have to! I never seem to make it though. I don't know about this trip either cause I have late afternoon/late nights planned at MK!

What a beautiful picture of the train station early in the morning. I LOVE the opening show at MK too. "Good Morning" is from one of my favorite movies..."Singin' In The Rain"!!! Wednesdays at MK are fantastic. In Jan 09 we went to MK on a Mon and a Wed....Wed was MILES better. There were literally no lines for anything except Peter Pan (as usual). BTMRR was a 5 min wait in the middle of the afternoon. It was awesome.

Ariel's eyes do look extremely blue, but she's very cute! My DD hasn't met Ariel in human form yet and she really hopes to on our trip in Sept.

Cute update!!!!!!! haha at Tim's face when he smelled something!!

That was the only time we went on during the whole trip. The ride was a little rough, lol. I think because I had my hair up, when my head would shake, it would hurt because my hair is so heavy, but the ride did seem really jerky. It was fun, though.

I totally agree about Space Mountain being so jerky!! We went on in May for the first time after the rehab and it seemed way jerkier than before the rehab! Of course I had expectations that the ride would be improved after the rehab so maybe it was all in my head?? I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that finds that ride rough....I was like bracing myself through the whole thing.

What awesome pictures you were able to get at the Magic Kingdom that morning, Lynn! Wow! I just adore the ones from the teacups and the Jungle Cruise!

The morning show is the best one at Disney! It always makes me smile! I think I kind of like Dale's new Tomorrowland outfit -- very retro-spacey (if that's a style! :lmao:)

When I first saw the picture of Tim holding his nose before I read the text, I thought you were going to say you had done Stitch's Great Escape. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why you would subject yourselves to that ride.

The teacups are one of our favorite rides! We always like to see how fast we can spin! :rotfl:

I feel the same way about the Winnie the Pooh ride -- I still miss Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. :(

Hurray for meeting Ariel and Prince Eric!

Fun day!! I always get teary-eyed at the MK rope drop-- it's our favorite!!
I could care less about Toontown closing! I don't think we stepped foot in it our last trip-- it's just not our style and I don't think it really ever fit in with the rest of the MK.
You guys got a lot done early! Nothing like a 5 minute wait for Splash!!

All caught up! Boy, what a difference a couple of weeks makes when you're close to summer-vacation time....we had lots of crowds, especially at MK.

I have a Canon camera also, but I can never get good pictures on PoC. Does yours have an ISO setting higher than 1600?

Totally subbing! I've read all of your trippies through the years... you always make me feel like I'm there! :) Can't wait to see the rest of this one!

D~
