I think you will really like Kidani. The walk from Kidani is not bad. Compared with the walking you will do in the parks it is a breeze.
I stayed at Kidani for SWW last year. I had to drive over to HS because I was in the parade(had to schlep my armor over and did not want to drag my tote on the bus), but the rest of the time the bus ride was fine. I THINK that Kidani is better for buses. It seemed to me like the bus stopped there second, so the Jambo folks had gotten off and the bus was less crowded for the return to the parks......I may be wrong on that.
We enjoyed driving through OKW, but talk about spread out! It is like an apartment complex as opposed to a resort building. I like the feeling of being in a more enclosed resort with my kids.....even thought the hallways at Kidani are LOOOOOOOOOOONG.
The pool at Kidani is awesome. Kids loved the slide. We visited both Jambo and Kidani pools and we spent an entire afternoon by the Kidani pool.
Kidani would be my second home, without question, if I could find the cash to add on.
Have a great time and enjoy SWW. It is something special. The Symphony In The Stars fireworks show is the best I have ever seen. But then again, I am a Star Wars nerd......
