Given that all rooms at Kidani are above ground level, how busy do the elevators get there?

My main concern is that we will have two ECVs on our next trip and I am thinking it might make sense to ask for a high floor to have a better chance of getting an empty elevator when leaving.

Are you aware there are actually 4 different elevators spread out across the resort? We've had very little issue getting an elevator to our floor, or to the parking area - except sometimes around 1030-11 checkout. But even that's not bad. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Are you driving everywhere? If you are taking the buses, getting a room on the second floor means you don't need to use the elevator.

I agree that elevators aren’t a problem at Kidani - every villa is pretty close to one! The issue is the length of the hallways - if you’re at one end or the other, it’s a trek to the lobby.

I think I only rode with another guest in an elevator once or twice in a week.

Kidani Village felt pretty empty to me. There were people there for sure, but maybe because it is so spread out it feels less crowded.

We went over the Lodge a couple times and it was quite the contrast with people everywhere.

Weve never had an issue with elevators the two times we have stayed at Kidani. Maybe once we waited to get in an elevator because someone was bringing a bunch of stuff to their room from parking but otherwise in our experience it has been one of the easiest resorts to navigate.

That is really good to know. When I heard no first floor rooms, I assumed that meant no ground level rooms!

Long hallways aren't a problem for me. I love walking, so I'm looking forward to them. My wife will have an ECV, so no issue for her either :)

We've stayed at AKV Kidani multiple times, using the elevators throughout. As others have said, there has only been one time when anyone was on the elevator. Almost all of the time, the elevators were completely empty and fully available for our family.

AKV is a beautiful resort that you're sure to enjoy. I hope you have a wonderful trip!
