We are heading back to the world for February 2013, I have a few questions about the chances of getting a concierge level room. Our home resort is BLT, so we can only do the 7 month window with a waitlist.

1. What are the chances of getting a 1 BD for the week of President's Day?

2. Is is the concierge level worth it?

3. We have stayed at Kidani before, how is Jambo different?

4. We have never stayed at BWV and contemplating going there because of location.....thoughts on this altogether?

Thank you everyone!

Since you don't own at AKV, you would be booking at 7 months out. There are only five two bedroom lockoff concierge villas at Jambo House. None at Kidani Village. So getting a holiday weekend at 7 months out will be slim to none.

The view from the villas aren't that good, so you are booking for the use of the lounge and the ability to book the Sunrise Safari.

The Jambo House villas are converted hotel rooms, so they don't have a separate shower and tub. Just a combo tub/shower in all the villas. All the DVC villas are on the fifth and sixth floors (where the concierge villas are located). The sixth floor villas are the old smoking villas.

There are only 10 AKV club rooms so you are very unlikely to be able to book them for a week at 7 months out.
Jambo House is lovely, the lobby is much bigger than the Kidani one. It also has QS restaurant, which I think is what is missing at Kidani. Other wise they are very similar and share much of the Savannah' s. The rooms at Jambo House are a bit smaller and only have one bathroom in a 1bed villa.
I like AKV club level but you need to like quite spicy different foods, It is not for picky eaters.
BWV rooms imo are not as nice as AKV but there location cannot be beaten. I am also not a fan of there pool area. Great for eating out though. If you make a lot of ADR at Epcot/HS then it is great.
