AKV Coffee Maker Thread and Bed Rails

OK, dumb questions:

What type of filter do the coffee makers take? Standard basket or those cones?

Can you get housekeeping to bring you bed rails up to the room? My son (who's 3) is an "active" sleeper and probably needs a pair to keep him from hitting the floor every night. We could pack, and bring, our own if we need to, but I'd just as soon save the space in the van if the hotel can provide them.

The baskets are the flat bottom standard.

I don't know about the bed rails. I stick my active 3 year old in the pack and play.

At every other WDW and DVC resort we have been to bed rails are available, so I can't imagine that AKV would be any different. I've just always touched housekeeping on the phone and they have been brought to the room within a couple of hours.

I was told by MS to add bedrails as a request to my reservation, so that is what I did. They said that is better than waiting until you get there to request them.

I'll make a note of that for the next visit. Since we're leaving in t-minus 2 hours, I'll have to take my chances at the front desk. If not, we can pick up a pair at Walmart for about $15 or so. But I'll give housekeeping a try first.
