AKV Booking Questions

i confess to not keeping up on AKV new bldg., etc., need help please

I have my DS/DIL booked currently @ VWL for a pre Xmas anniversary trip.

Not sure why (VWL is beautiful @ Xmas) but, they'd like to try @ 7 month window (if im counting right for a 12/13 arrival that would be next tuesday 5/12?) for BLT or AKV.

As I can only waitlist for 2 'type' rooms, BLT would be their #1 pick & AKV would be #2.

I assume Kidani & Jambo house requests would count as 2 & i'd have to pick one of them in this case? leaning toward Jambo @ this point (we loved it!) & im thinking it might be easier to obtain.

If they do get AKV waitlist, should/can I request a specific savannah view or section of resort? We had the standard view and considered ourselves 'very' lucky to get the small savannah view of giraffes/ostriches, etc.

All suggestions most welcome!

ok, as expected on that Qthanx

guess i'll go with Jambo sav view studio then - believe they are bigger than the standard value studios (we found it rather cozy w/3 in the roomnice though)

It's 7 months from date of arrival, so I think you could call on May 13 for a December 13th arrival.

I don't know that you can assume that Jambo would be easier to get since it's smaller, but I do like Jambo, and for studio stays that's the one I pick. At Jambo, the studios have 2 sinks in the bath dressing area, in Kidani only 1. I personally like the studios we've had on Arusha savannah.
