So we finally decided to buy 50 add-on points at AKV...I called DVC this morning, they have to route me to a different advisor because mine is out on Medical Leave, and less than 10 minutes later it's done and paperwork will be on its way "soon" (they're backed up with everyone adding on points at AKV!). Wow. That was dangerously simple. (We haven't added on by phone before - the one time we did it back in 1997 we did it in person.)
I'm glad, though - when we received the initial announcement I said we didn't need any more points...but AKV was THE place where in the past we'd both said that if they ever built Savannah-view DVC units we'd buy. But I'd kind of been thinking about it, and last night I asked my husband and it turned out *he'd* been thinking about it, too, so we decided to go for it. Now I can't wait until the first time I can stay there! Hopefully this fall. Guess I'll be on the phone on May 16 with all the rest of you.

Count me in as someone who will be on the phone whenever that first day is that we can book AKL with our AKL points!
