Akv $70???

I just saw 2 AKV contracts for $70pp listed by TSS (180 points, one has no points this year and one has 22 pts this year). This seems like desperation to me on the seller's part; I can't imagine it would pass ROFR.

Only if someone attempts to buy it. I'd think most people would know that won't pass ROFR so why attempt it.

What is the going commission rate for selling a contract these days? Would it be worth it? OTOH, if you're desperate for cash it probably is better than holding on to the contract.

If you really wanted to sell a contract you wouldn't need a broker. All you need is an ad with a really low purchase price. Someone will buy it. Then when it fails ROFR you keep all the money yourself and you still may come out ahead since you are not paying 11% to a broker.

You missed the whole point of my post. It was sort of tongue-in-cheek.

Disney will buy it at $70 which guarantees the seller gets their asking price.
