I just cancelled the last night at the end of my stay at AKV in a 1BR Concierge room. Hopefully one of my fellow DIS'ers will benefit from this. We added 2 nights to the front of our stay (in a Savannah View Studio, CC wasn't available), and removed the last night...saving us $800 on airfare. 
We are now arriving the night (8PM) of Christmas, and leaving on New Years Day (6PM)...I hope I made the right choice.
Travelling around the holiday for the first time made me nervous enough, now we're travelling ON the holidays. 
I can't help but be excited though!
