AKLJ — BWV split

Stayed 3 nights at AKL Jambo. I’m not sure but the Welcome at AKL is just the most friendly. I stayed in a standard studio, second January stay. Room is ready for refurbishment but everything was super clean and comfortable. I love arrival day with Animal Kingdom park as first park, such fantastic immersion. I had a wonderful time at the park also but missed the lions on safari. The hippos were sunning in all their large glory. The animals outside my room in the morning seemed to be waiting for and greeting the sun, since it was cold each morning. My room was a dedicated studio near the people pen. Loved that. Enjoyed time at the pool, although I did not swim. Many swam on Saturday but not me. 10/10.
Today I checked into BWV 1 bdrm p/g. Room is gorgeous but hvac had no power on arrival. Two techs came and the wires were loose from movement. Fixed now and very happy to be settled in. I drove to CAVA for lunch (recommend) and bought stuff for my owners locker at Target. Not far from AKL. 3 days of wdw food and I’m all done with that. Sat/swam at the quiet pool for a bit. 7:30 ILL for Guardians and very excited for the rest of the week. Really do like the larger villas.

ETA: Security at AKL were rescuing kittens from a car engine compartment this morning. Meow meow meows heard out loud.

77° and sunny at the Luna Pool at BWV in January is a wish come true on this day. Walked to RoR this morning then took boat to BCV and walked to GoG. I have enjoyed my stay here and the 1 bdrm villa is very nice. Room overlooks the quiet pool.

This sounds like a really beautiful trip- I love AKL, the theming is just outstanding, and the vibe at the resort is great. We are also big fans of BCV and BWV. This is a great split stay, I am a fan of having "two" vacations in one. Sounds like a great getaway.

I'm usually pretty good at acronyms but CAVA is throwing me for a loop.
We also stayed at AK Jambo....one precious day on Club level I got as a fluke and then transferred to BCV. AK treated us so well as we were celebrating a big anniversary.
Even though I adore the BWV/BCV area, AK was very peaceful & calming.
We also needed to call for thermostat help at both AK & BCV. Part of our trip was the insanely cold damp days (for FL) and definitely wanted/needed heat.

California Adventure Villas in Anaheim? Built in the parking lot of a nearby 7-11, and impossible to book at 7 months. And usually at 11 months, too.

CAVA is a chain restaurant off property near the Target I went to. The wdw food does not agree with me so I drive off property to eat sometimes. Now I have an owner’s locker with things I need to cook for myself.
My first few days at AKLJ were cooler, but the day I checked into my 1 bdrm at BWV it had warmed up. The room was very stuffy and warm from the hvac not turning on but it worked fine after they fixed it!

It is! Last year I was on the same hallway with a similar view. 5555 is a dedicated studio, which is a nice bonus.
