What is the difference between value and standard rooms at AKL? Longer walking distance? Parking lot view?

Oh, wow! Thanks so much! That helped and even got me to start a "Important info about DVC rooms" document on my computer! I'm sure that'll get filled up in the next few days. I've been pretty addicted to this site since we decided to buy DVC last week.

I just returned after spending 3 nights in standard, then 2 nights in value. The main difference is size. I think the value studio would be a little tight for more than 2 people. Sorry-I took pictures, but DH has to show me how to download them, and he won't be home for a couple more days. The views were both pool view-actually, I think the view from the value studio was a little nicer. Both were very close to an elevator that went right down to the pool (standard was 1 room away, value 2 rooms away). In the value studio, the bed was right next to the sliding door. I'll post photos when I can, hopefully by the weekend.
