AKL Value Studio Request

Doing my Online check-in and one option is Kuda Trail View, Does anyone know what this means? Is this basically requesting a savannah view room?

I've read many times that requests do not work for value rooms. We had two value rooms in May and both had Savannah views. There is a map out there so you can see the number of pool v savannah views.

That request list is for the entire resort. It will be ignored for value rooms. The value rooms are either on the Ostrich or Giraffe trail. There are an equal number of pool and savanna view rooms, with two parking lot view rooms.

The Values are along the Ostrich & Giraffe Trails. The rooms shown in white on that map are Hotel Rooms.

There are two studios with a parking lot view, eight with a pool view, and eight with a savanna view. So, there's an 89% chance it will be pool or savanna view.

After many years of good luck and avoiding the parking lot view, I got stuck with it for 3 nights last December. Internally, I threw a hissy fit, but figured it was my turn. THEN, it ended up not being an issue at all because the trees block the view.

In 10 value studio stays, my average is just about the distribution, 4 Savannah, 5 pool, and 1 garden or parking lot. I only had a 2 bedroom once, and it was a pool view.
