AKL Value 2 bedroom .....

Already planning our winter trip with my bro, wife , neice and nephew. We will have 8 total and want a 2 bedroom value. Can someone please explain to me the differences between Jambo and kidani? Weve stayed in Kidani in a 1 bedroom and it was amazing....Are there any links for value 2 Bed photos? My bro and sis picked AKL and that works good for us as fas as stretching points. Thanks !!!

There are only value rooms at Jambo... and there are only the equivalent of 10 2br's. I think that there are 5 SV, 3 pool view, and 2 parking lot views.

We have stayed at both Kidani and Jambo... Jambo's DVC rooms are only on the 5th floor and the club level rooms are on the 6th floor.

We enjoyed the amenities of Jambo much better.

The Values are shorter than the other villas in Jambo House by about 3 feet. All of the 2-bedroom Villas in JH are lockoffs. They will consist of a 1-bedroom and a studio with a connecting door. You will have 2 baths, 1 in the 1-bedroom and 1 in the studio. A 2-bedroom in Kidani Village has 3 baths. The Values can have either a parking lot view, pool view or savanna view. As much as I enjoy Jambo house, I wouldn't describe a value 1 or 2 bedroom as "amazing" after staying in either at Kidani.

I've booked a value 2 bedroom for 4 adults for my gals's week in September. I also booked a studio (standard, value wasn't available 7 months out for all of the days) for 2 other friends. I just couldn't imagine us all 6 sleeping comfortably in the 2 bedroom value.

If you compare it to Kidani's 2 bedroom setup, you could be disappointed in the fact that the tub/shower/jacuzzi is all one unit and it's rather wide to step into.

I love AKV, love Jambo....but for this trip, I especially loved the point cost for what's going to be a terrific vacation.

Thanks...Im a lil confused by the whole thing to be honest. I loved Kidani -most of all the space we had in a 1 BD. The layout in Jambo LOOKS ok, but the fear of looking at a parking lot freaks me OUT . Another question~ The standard in Kidani wouldnt look at the cars cuz they are under the resort, correct? Anyone have negative/positive experiences in standard Kidani? Thank u again!!!

The value villas do not have the sleeper chair (not enough room), so they only sleep 4 or 8. They are all lockoffs. And if you don't have one already, you might not get it.

The more I read , the more I think Ill just with Kidani and not roll the dice. I wanted to try Jambo, but its almost not worth it.
