Can you rent these using DVC member points? Is there a way to ensure a savannah view or is that the catch?

Yes, there are some value 1 bedroom villas that are available on points. The value villas are limited in number and very popular because of the lower point requirement. They will have either a view of the pool, parking lot or savanna. A view can be requested but not guaranteed.

We had a AKL 1 bedroom the during Aug 2007. The view was over the pool. The room was wonderful. The resort was awesome.
