AKL: Uzima Savannah HELP

Thanks to everyone here, we have finally booked our first trip to WDW which is also our 2nd anniversary. We have booked three nights at the AKL Savannah view and made several PSs for dinner.

My final (hopefully!) question...I think we would like a Uzima Savannah view (the animals seem the most interesting to us) - I don't see that Savannah on the map (only the Uzima Pool). Does anyone know which rooms to ask for? We want to avoid the 3rd floor right - the entrance floor - as it might/is be louder? Also how far it this from the bus stop? Okay I guess this is more than one last question!! LOL

There is no problem with the third floor and noise at all. All rooms are down a hallway away from the lobby. That said, we had a 4th floor room looking over the Uzima savannah. I think it was room 4522 (not sure though). To get to it you walked past the pool area, past a hallway to the right, past another view of Uzima, past the elevators and was a few room down the hallway. We liked not being in one of the wings to the right (not looking across to other rooms, but straight into the savannah). We had a perfect view of the water hole and the trees where the giraffes are fed. Hope you find a nice room. Enjoy -HM

Thanks HM - I thought I read somewhere that the 3rd floor (main floor in this case) was loudest. Nice to hear that isn't the case. Can we request the Uzima savannah now or do we have to wait until checkin and request it them?

Just wanted to add that we stayed on the third floor 2X now and it's not loud at all. You have to keep in mind that the rooms are along very long halls so unless you are one of the first rooms from the lobby (and even then they are a way back) you really aren't near the lobby at all. We had wonderful views both times.
