Hello again, Kata! I've also done the Wildlife Discovery Excursion tour just last May. It's bang for your buck and very interesting as well in its own respect. There is no meal associated with the Wildlife Discovery Excursion. It might be a bit much to do all 3 safari's in one vacation unless you plan to stay a while. If I had to choose between Sunset and Wildlife Excursion I'd have to say Sunset right now. I've not done Sunrise, but I bet that may be the best bang for your buck since it does include a tasty breakfast. The Wildlife Discovery Excursion and Sunrise both take place in the Kilamajaro Safari. You ride in the same vehicles used in the KS ride itself on Sunrise, but you are in a mini-bus safari vehicle (Air conditioned) for Wildlife Discovery. For Sunrise, you are the only ones on the road while during Wildlife Discovery the Safari ride is operating simulatneously during your excursion. Sunset takes place at AK and you'll learn about the animals at the lodge. All three of these safaris are unique. It depends on the experience you are looking to have to be able to choose between them. I would gravitate to one of the safaris offered exclusively to AKL concierge guests, but that's just my opinion. I know decisions like this are tough. Let us know what you decide to do.
I would e-mail AKL IPO to get the dates. I really can't remember what day(s) Sunset is offered on, but I believe you need to be there around 4:30-4:45 for sunset. I would request the Arusha Rock view on the 5th floor, Zebra trail. You'll be front and center on the main savannah. I was lucky enough to be right next to the VP Suite last year and LOVED it. I believe all the rooms are non-smoking on the 5th floor, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong on that.
