Hi! I have a quick question. What is the most efficient way to use Disney transportation to get from AKL to the Contemporary for a 9:20am character breakfast reservation?

TIA! :goodvibes

I apologize if this has been asked before (I'm sure it has at some point)!

I would say take the bus to MK and then walk (5-10 min) to the Contemporary.

Have fun!

I would say take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and use the walkway to the Contemporary, because from the bus station you are already half way there and using the Monorail would take longer. The reason is the Magic Kingdo Monorail station is located on the other side of the bus station, so by the time you walk there you could have already made it to the Contemporary.

I'll agree with the others.

If someone in your party may have trouble walking longer distances (younger kids or grandparents), then the monorail is probably the best choice. Otherwise, the walk is a good choice.

The monorail pops you right in the middle of the concourse, where all the action is. Walking, you'll come in on the ground floor, and ten head to the back of the lobby, where the escalator will take you up to the fourth floor.

After eating, I always recommend that folks take the elevator up to the 11th floor - from there, you can get a great view looking down on all the action at Chef Mickey's, along with the entire Contemporary Tower. The kids will get a kick out of seeing a different view of the place where they just ate with Mickey. (But be warned, you may find yourself saying "That's it, we HAVE TO stay here next time.")

cigar95 - thanks for the recommendations, that sounds great! We will be travelling with our friends who have a DD but she will still be in a stroller so I think we'll walk from the bus to the resort! We're spending that day in the MK so maybe we'll take the monorail back over to the park.
