AKL to Car Care Center?

Does anyone know if the AKL provides transportation to get a rental car and if so how long is the ride?

I am assuming you mean the Car Care Center right outside of MK, right? If so then yes, they (the rental car co., NOT AKL) will pick you up to get your car and also drop you off at your resort after you return the car. This is for resorts located on WDW property, only--I think. National and Alamo are the 2 rental car companies from the Car Care Center. Other rental car companies are at the Dolphin--Dollar, Budget, etc., and DTD resorts. They will also provide you with a shuttle to pick and return cars and service resorts located on WDW property and the surrounding areas. You need to call ahead to make arrangements for the shuttle and you may not be the only ones in the shuttle. Sometimes the service is faster then others, and it is customary to tip the shuttle driver. I hope this helps. We have done this many times, in many varying combinations of resorts, rental car companies etc., (can you tell??) and it is,really very easy.

It is not the resort that provides the transportation but National/Alamo.

Yes I'm talking about the car care center right by MK.
I made a reservation online and it asked for the time of pickup besides just the date.
I want to make a PS for the Boma dinner, finish eating, and then still have time to make my rental pickup. So I guess I just need to call the car care center the day before for a shuttle pickup. But would a 30minute window from the time I finished eating to the time on the car rental reservation be long enough?
