AKL room request?

I am staying at AKL Dec 2010 with a savanna view...i am wondering if there is a certain area i should request?! We NEED to see giraffe's!! Would prefer close QS (for mug refill's), and possibly the buses if this is an option! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

In fact, the giraffes are the only animal found on every savannah.

You get to the buses from the lobby, the closest trail is Giraffe Trail but it doesn't have savannah views. Ostrich Trail is on the other side of the lobby and does have savannah views. You can get to the Mara from near Jiko (in GiraffeTrail); it's located on the first floor of Zebra Trail (which also has some savannah views), but I don't know if you can actually get there without going outside.

The fourth hall is Kudu Trail.
