AKL room questions

I want to book AKL concierge for our next trip, and I have a couple of questions. I know that the lounge is on the 6th floor and the concierge rooms are located on the 6th and part of the 5th floor. I thought I remembered reading somewhere about the views on the 6th floor being either savanna view or pool view, but you couldn't request a particular view. Is this correct? Also, where on the 5th floor are concierge rooms located, and is it a hike to get to the lounge? We were on the 5th floor on our last trip but did not stay concierge. We were only there for a couple of days, and we really didn't get to explore the resort as much as I would have liked.

My first AKL trip we were about 4-5 roomd from the lobby overlook (for lack of a better way to describe it). For my second visit we were in a suite, as far down the hall as ou could go--literally it deadended at our door--this was on the 3rd floor, btw.

We were in AKL Concierge on the 5th floor. We were only a few doors down the hall from the main lobby on the Arusha Savannah. We had a room with one queen, a set of bunks and a day bed. It wasn't any big deal to go to the lounge from our room or vice versa. We did the Sunrise Safari and it was worth the stay.
