Greetings!

Closely watching all the threads on the AKL construction moves:surfweb: , as our visit to AKL is scheduled to start September 12. . . The SSR one bedroom villa offer sounds wonderful. But, has anyone been offered any of the other Disney villas? The BC and BW areas have so many more restaurant opportunities. . .:beach:

Thanks!
Judy

I was offered a 1 bedroom at any one of them, BCV, WLV, OKW and BWV. Didn't want to stay at another DVC because we have already stayed in a two bedroom villa at the BWV's and Part 2 of this trip we are renting at BW. We opted for the Poly with no refund. Could have also stayed at WL, BWI, YC or GF but wanted something a little different. CR was my daughters first choice but only 2 days were available for our dates so that was out. Good luck to you.

Thanks, Cheryl!

You'll love the Poly -- it has great atmosphere! We struggled between the Poly and AKL in making our original ressie -- went with AKL because we love Boma. We've never done a villa, and it might raise our interest in DVC. . .

BTW -- DH and I are KSU grads (grew up in Brook Park and Southington), good to hear from someone close to home!

I was only offered SSR. I specifically asked if any of the other DVC properties might be possible, and she said they were not being offered.

BCV and BWV usually get pretty booked up for the Summer, so probably not much vacancy.

How cool, Kent is just around the corned and my daughter Eryn is planning on attending for her Junior and Senior year. She has enrolled at Tri-C to get her req's. out of the way on the cheap.

I could have never swung a stay at the Poly nor justified the cost of AKL if I had not gotten it for less then what we were originally paying at CSR for the three of us. I will probably never hit such a great rate, $163.84 per night, ever again. I was very lucky this trip.
