AKL Questions - Busses

Hello!

Can anyone tell me how long it takes by bus to get from AKL to MK and Epcot?

About 15 minutes to MK and about 10 minutes to Epcot. That is drive time only and does not take into account wait time at the bus stops (which can be anything up to 20 minutes).

Just trying to keep this thread active! Any positives / negatives to staying at AKL?

The AKL is a gorgeous resort and seeing the animals roaming is a great bonus. The rooms are nice and the bus service was awesome IMO (we went last September). We did have a lousy Savannah view and housekeeping issues (they put us in a dirty room and customer service wasn't helpful, wasted the first day dealing with that). BUT from what I hear we had some rare bad luck at the AK and that being said, I think the AK is a great resort.

My DD loved the resort and wanted to stay there again on our next trip but we've decided to try a different resort "just because". However, I'm thinking of squeezing the AKL in for a few nights during our trip just because it truly is a beautiful place to stay, and the pool was great too!

For the record, the bus rides to/from the parks were quick and easy. I was really impressed with the bus service. The longest we waited at the resort for a bus was 10 minutes tops, but that was only once. Normally we only waited a couple minutes at most.

Thank you for your response - we have only been there one - to go to dinner at Boma. I remember feeling it was WAY far away from everything. Do you feel that way?
