My DH and I are checking in Sept 14 at AKL, with a standard room booked. Already I have called twice about construction, and have gotten nowhere...no one seems to know ANYTHING. I even requested to be transferred to Guest Services for the special "team" who were taking care of the AKL construction issues. I am very concerned about this, as my DH suffers from migraines and allergies and I DON'T want him to be uncomfortable on our honeymoon, especially since this is his first time at WDW!!! I've asked if we could move to another resort (since this apparently is the standard procedure for pre-Sept 1 checkins) but Guest Services told me that we would be responsible for the difference in price and we would lose our Free Dining. I am all up in arms about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like yelling and compaining to CRO. We did NOT know about construction when we booked our room. Are we up a creek without a paddle here or is there anything I can do? I have half a mind to call CRO again today, but I want to be ready mentally and verbally. HELP?!
