We are booked for the Animal Kingdom Lodge for one night in October. I know that the pool is closed for refurbishment and am wondering if it's a hassle to take the shuttle to Kidani Village to use their pool and if that pool is exceptionally crowded? We are only there for one night, staying club level and are deliberately not going to any parks that day to enjoy the pool, etc. Now I'm debating if we should stay somewhere else.

I've never stayed there, but have walked from Jambo to Kidani for Sanaa. The walk is nice and easy, ten minutes at the most/.5 miles, and from what I've heard the shuttle runs constantly (and I'm sure they'll be on top of it with the pool closure). Again, more people will be going to kidani for the pool than usual and it's smaller.

We feel it's much more convenient to just walk over to Kidani.

I have a feeling it won't be.

I wouldn't switch.
