AKL or POR- Riverside?

My family of four is thinking of taking a trip to WDW in November this year. We have stayed at OKW, AKV - Kindani, and BCV. I loved BCV but my husband and daughter were more impressed with AKV. I loved it too and thought i would miss it but then I fell in love with BC - Must be all those trips to the beach when i was a child. However, although I have never seen it in person, when i see the pictures I am also drawn to Port Orleans -Riverside ( must be all those summers spent living in New orleans when i was a preteen). The refurbed princess rooms look really nice. Do you think this would be a resort two twelve year old girls would enjoy or do you think they would be happier returning to AKL? Has anyone stayed at both and have any pros or cons to staying at Port Orleans - Riverside.
