AKL or PO-R????

Does anyone else ever feel like they are set and then do a complete reversal and change their minds? I have been trying to start planning for a March 03 trip- and my husband is totally against spending the extra $$$ to stay at AKL. He wants to stay at PO-R in a King room. I don't know what to do- for us to stay at AKL it is an extra $1100- (no discounts out yet for MArch 03- so I have to wait). Each resort has things I like- I like having thr marina at PO-R and the food court- I like the view idea from my balcony at AKL... So any advice you have- help!!

DG-12, since your DH is against spending the extra money, maybe you should reserve POR for now. Then if any discounts come out, you could switch to AKL. I personally love the AKL and its ambience, restaurants, and relaxing feel, but the rooms are small compared to the other deluxes. And for $1100 difference, I think I'd have a hard time justifying the extra expense. You could use a little of the money you save and have a great meal at Boma or Jiko and check out the resort and the animals.

By the way, AKL also has a food court, so don't let that affect your decision. Good luck deciding!
