AKL or CR

I currently have a package with dining at CR with the balance due in Oct.(2 rooms, six people) I also have some unexpected home repairs that I need to pay for right away. Soo... do I bite the bullet and switch to AK and save about $650.00, or keep CR and drop the dining and scale back our ADR's? I really want to stay at CR, my family only wants to stay there if we get a renovated room. They all like AK, so will not be too upset if we switch. Any other ideas or reassurance?

Are you staying in the wings or tower? I think I would save the money. The CR is great and convienent but I wouldn't drop the dining I would save on the room.

I guess it depends on why you picked CR in the first place for this trip. If convenience to MK and Epcot, plus the amenities of being at a resort on the water--i.e. boat rentals and things are most important to you, then I'd scale back on the ADRs and keep the CR. If the ADRs and the parks are more important and the location of where you rest your head doesn't matter as much (and you know they will like AKL anyway), then switch to AKL and save yourself the money upfront and that way you won't have to change your plans any.
