AKL or BWV 2 bedroom?

Will either of these sleep 10 people, 6 adults and 4 children (8 years, 6, 6 and 3)?

Which would you recommend?

I don’t think any 2BR goes past 9.
However even with 9 I would go with AKL kidani for 3 bathrooms.

There are 2 smaller dropdown beds, one in the studio side and 1 in the 1BR side. Plus the normal King, queen, and 2 queen sofas.

Yes, but GF is not likely as it is more expensive and much harder to book, I understand!

Yes, plan B is a 2 bedroom at AKL with a studio as well. Still less $$ than a 2 bedroom at VGF. Plan C is at the BWV and plan D is OKW, 3 bedroom.

Jambo has only 2 bathrooms in the 2BR and its 2BRs are smaller than Kidani by about 100 sq ft. The only two WDW DVC resorts with three bathrooms in a 2BR are Kidani and BLT.

I don't know about the fitness centres but the Value rooms are only available at Jambo.

I love the 2-BR at Kidani--spacious with 3 bathrooms. I also like the long, connected patio in the dedicated 2-BR. I find the bus service to be very good at AKL. Boardwalk's location is great for walking to Epcot and HS, but the bus service isn't always great to the other resorts (can end up sharing with all of the other nearby resorts). Also Bowardwalk only has lock-off 2BR, so only one "real" bed in the second bedroom.

Yes. Dedicated 2 bedrooms will have 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom....lock offs will not.

As to value 2BR's, they are all in the front part of Jambo, and are "value" because they are smaller rooms than any others -- the 2BR at Kidani is about 1170 sq ft, Jambo other than value about 1070, and value comes in at about 945 sq ft. Also, it is necessary to use the 11 month window to get a value 2BR or studio, and even then it may be difficult to get it at times.

Still trying to figure out how to accommodate everyone. Some people want 2 real beds in a room, others have children needing separate sleeping surfaces. Adults want the living room free when the kids go to bed, but don't want to sleep on the sofa bed. So many ways to try to accommodate everyone! We considered a three bedroom villa, but DH and I decided that we want our own space separate for actual sleeping. The main reason that I was wondering about 10 in the 2 bedroom was to get DH and me on the room registry for babysitting (somewhere to crash if the 'kids' stay out late) and possibly taking the DGC to the pool.
