Since we had this discussion on here already, I am going to include the fact that this information will help everyone trying to get to MCO on JetBlue in the late fall months can finally rejoice... They are releasing their dates through January 5th on Sunday, April 6.

OMG! Thanks for the info! :thumbsup2

Hi all! So we are going to change our reservation to CL as it is available with our AP discount and not much more $$ than we are already paying for our May trip. My question - what room request can we make with CL? Floor? Location on the Savannah? Help! We have a 3 year old girl if that matters at all. Thanks so much!

Congrats! :thumbsup2 There really isn't much you can ask for! Your CL room will be on the 4th floor, Arusha Savannah (near the lobby). Great location! The room will be on either Kudu or Zebra Trail so you could request one of those! Zebra Trail would be a bit more convenient to the elevator (Lounge is on 6th) and also to the pool, restaurants and buses.

Enjoy!! :goodvibes

You are correct that you will only get replenishment on day 4 when renting points. However the DVC villas have a regular coffee pot, not the pod machines. I can't remember if they're 4 or 8-cup machines, but they use filters & regular ground coffee, so you can bring your own. You can request more in between, and technically there is a change for it, but last time I asked (and expected to pay) they dropped some off for free. It never showed up on my bill.

I can't seem to find it right now but somewhere there is a list of DVC Mousekeeping items that you can pay for in between days 1 & 4. There is a coffee pack that I think was around $5. If someone has a link to this can they please post?

From the DVC member website:

Pay As You Play

With Pay As You Play service, you'll be provided with the following amenities at no additional charge at the start of your stay. After that, you may purchase more amenities for the following fees (fees are subject to change):

Toiletries Package, $5 - 1 facial soap, 1 bath soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 shower gel
Coffee Package, $3 - 1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 artificial sweeteners
Towel Package, $6 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat
Laundry Detergent (only in 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom Vacation Homes), $1 - 1 box

From 1 BR Club Level on 03/28/2014:

There was one of these in the room:

And one of these:

Just some info to add....

Besides the Studio Deluxe Standard view & Deluxe Savannah View, there's also a value room studio as well. And just to clarify these rooms all can be wherever.

There are value rooms that face the parking lot, & there are also some value rooms that face the pool, as well as value which have Partial savannah view. Now if you happen to get a standard view that has a pool view ( it will be same view, most likely as the value but the room will be slightly larger inside.... Savannah, is just what it states..SAVANNAH view.... BTW Values are only at Jambo..5th floor..... Kidani is stricly DVC only.

Thanks!!! I can't wait to try out the afternoon tea - those scones look delicious! We are looking into the Sunrise Safari for the only morning that we will be there that they do them. I'm not sure if it is available but we figured we'd ask. DO you have any information on that? It seems like it is from about 7am until 9am? Does that sound correct? Trying to figure out if we can hit Epcot that morning afterwards or if that would all be too much!

Hi Brandi, Slight change for us. Our dates are now Nov. 1st thru Nov. 9th @ AKV Kidani Thanks..:thumbsup2

Sunrise Safari is on Thursday and Sunday mornings. You will check in at the Lounge before 7pm -- they have to swipe your passes since park admission is required. You'll meet your Guides in the lobby around 7:15; then board the bus for AK.

It's the Kilimanjaro ride with many photo opportunities (they stop the vehicle often) and lots of information (they encourage questions). :)

After the Safari, the group makes its way to Pizzafari -- it is often close to 9am by then.

The breakfast is fabulous -- in a private room at Pizzafari and absolutely worth the price of admission! :thumbsup2 The Guides stay and mingle and it's a great opportunity to get some wonderful information about the animals from the experts (and they truly are experts!).

I have done it multiple times and each time has been a unique experience.

One month till we arrive. I can't wait. We are doing deluxe dining with some great reservation (Cinderellas' Royal Table dinner, Narcoossees, Be Our Guest for Lunch (got a fast pass+, and 'Ohana dinner for first time)

Thanks again for you help! It seems like an amazing tour - we just have to decide (because our May trip is so short - only 4 days) if we can fit it in with F&G and SWW! Your review really makes me want to do it though!!! :-)

You're welcome! I see your dilemma! So many great things to experience at WDW and so little time! ;)

F&G and SWW are only there once a year and for a limited time. The SS is available year-round. The only issue though is that you must be staying Club Level at AKL to participate.

Decisions, decisions! :scratchin

SS has a 48-hour cancellation and is not a prepay (CC guarantee). I might go ahead and see if you can book it; then cancel later if you decide there's no room for it in your itinerary.

I am packing this morning, heading to an airport hotel later today for a 7am Monday morning flight. Will be checking in to Dolphin for a week of F&G! :goodvibes

Enjoy your week of bliss! :-) Try one of those bacon cupcakes or the frushi at Japan! I can't wait to try them out!
