Laura might be making some ADRs for you, not sure!

Bensmom is dreaming about a CA trip so we need to get her back on here talking to us about Disney. :upsidedow

Bob asked me last night if you would be at dinner with Laura and the two of us on Saturday night and when I told him no he pouted! :rotfl:

So far Sanaa doesn't do anything for me. I am sure that will change but I am not jumping up and down to give it a whirl yet.

So are our ships just passing by a few days??? I leave the 29th...I forget as I know this has been mentioned before:rolleyes1

Your Bob is sweet...I am sure Laura may have a few photos to share, maybe just a few stories to share about our adventures.... After I have left the World:(

I saw that CA talk...wow..sounds like fun...yep.her mind is elsewhere for sure..and for good reason:thumbsup2

Laura is awesome!! She made some great ADR's and I surprised her with changing part of our stay...:rotfl2: who me?
A 2 bdr lake view at BLT..we may rent out the 3rd bathroom:rotfl2:

Sanaa will wait....will hopefully get some pool time at Kidani:thumbsup2

Made my second ADR this morning - Boma for breakfast the day after we check in. I'm thinking 1 1/2 hours should be plenty of time for breakfast and travel to AK by 9, right? The earliest I could get for breakfast was 7:35. We tend to be a sit down, big breakfast and skip lunch sort of family on the weekends and vacations.
I was afraid my mom was going to be really disappointed about not going to Ireland. But she said the point is to enjoy ourselves and if the kids aren't having fun, no-one is having fun. I think the final straw was when our younger daughter threw a penny into a fountain at Hershey Park and wished she could go to Disney World. I thought if she was wishing for Disney World when she's at Hershey Park (which she loves), the Rock of Cashel wasn't like to knock her socks off.

Ooh! How often do they post this? I am looking forward to the November times.

Well, not to be too wacky here, and no disrespect intended... but they usually post the monthly hours every month. ;) Sorry, I just couldn't resist :flower3:

If you change the "Oct" in the url to "Nov" you can view last year's November hours. When the new ones for 2009 come out it will change to the updated hours.

Laura-great posting of all the activities-I"m going to copy to take with us-I want to spend a lot of time at the hotel and enjoy and spend our park time selectively since it will be August and hot!!!:scared:

So after a lot of debate with my husband, I decided to cancel our planned trip on ABD to Ireland. I was planning to go with my mom and daughters. At the end of the day, I just couldn't justify spending the equivalent of a year's college tuition for one vacation. My husband readily agreed. And also agreed to my alternate plan of taking the three of them to the Food and Wine fest this year! So I now have a last minute split stay scheduled for 9/28-10/4 at AKL and WL. I'm beyond excited. I'm going to keep it a secret from the kids until we're in the car going to the airport (if I can:)).

Tarak-you are going to have an awesome time-you are staying at my two favorite resorts.:lovestruc..no matter where else I do-and I do love to travel-I've always had awesome times at WDW-I just always feel so good-I guess well taken care of there...:cloud9:

...I'm thinking more along the lines of DIVINE INTERVENTION....

Miracles can happen you know...;)

Post #38,000!!! :cool1::woohoo::dance3:

That's awesome! :grouphug:

I don't often too this but a want to put in a 30 second safety tip-PLEASE, PLEASE, be careful around the flames on your ranges when you are cooking...this seems self apparent but unfortunately it is easier to set yourself on fire than I ever realized as I learned today...:sad2:

I was cooking lunch for my children and I most have leaned too close to the flames (loose shirt-I caught on fire-put myself out in the sink with a little help from DD-to make a long, unpleasant story short-went to ER, have 1st and 2nd degree burns on hand and one side of my abdomen and a traumatized family):sad1:

So especially be careful with the 4th coming up and watch that loose clothing near flames-it is too easy to forget how dangerous fire can be...

oh and God Bless Firemen 100 times over, who put themselves in harms way to save others...

:goodvibes Honestly, I went through the same debate when I was looking at purchasing in '07. I am now so glad that I did purchase, but it is a very personal decision and you have to decide whether it is the right time for you.

If DH still wants to purchase after August and we can handle it-I'll be thrilled too...

Not wacky at all! That makes more sense than my question did!
Thanks for the explaination; I will try it to get a better idea of what to expect for planning.

OH-I'm not fighting it and I am nodding and smiling-I'm just also sleeping with a weapon under my pillow so when the alien that has obviously possessed him decided to hatch in the middle of the night-I'M PREPARED!

(Especially since his newest comment yesterday was in regards to the Disney Cruise Line and wouldn't it be a nice way to try to a cruise for four nights to see if we liked cruising??? Since if anyone would do a quality cruise it would be Disney...and did I know you could use your DVC points for this...???)

Oh he's possessed alright...

:lmao: You are hilarious!!!!

Post #38,000!!! :cool1::woohoo::dance3:

And you only posted 24 more times beyond that today. Kind of a slacker day, eh? ;)

CONGRATULATIONS! (any news on the possibly, maybe, crossing fingers and toes trip?)

Hi everyone!
We just got back from a vacation in New Hampshire, where we visited it's greatest theme park - Storyland!! They do try to emulate Disney just a bit. They have a "safari" ride (with fake animals) and there's a part where you ride over a bridge and it starts to move around a bit...no poacher story...but you can see the similarity. So we get off the ride and DS6 says, in his best sarcastic tone, "oh yeah, nice safari with FAKE animals!" I had to give him a little talking-to about not wrecking it for the little kids (specifically his 3 year old cousin who was with us and loved it). What can I say, he got spoiled at AK!

Kimmar...I hope that trip happens for you!!
:goodvibes

I should really delete my ticker because I have to face the fact that the trip is not happening this November, but it's too depressing to think about. :sad2:

Thanks so much all for all the good wishes...I'm healing nicely but a little slowly-I've been banned to the inside of the house today during our 4th of July yard sale to recuperate :confused3 -which I think is excessive and later I'm not to go anywhere near the grill during our bbq-which I have no problems with...:scared:

Yummy Domes-are there any more please...:confused3?

LOVE THIS clippie-4th of July seems like it would be such a great holiday to be at Disney...:cheer2:

HAPPY 4TH to ALL!!!

PracPerfPatricia - I'm glad you weren't hurt more than you were. Your poor family - I'm sure that had to be terrifying.
Hope everyone has a great 4th - we have season passes to nearby Hershey Park, but assume it will be packed, so we're going to a friend's house for a cook out. My husband is Greek and so are they so they told us the 15 types of meat they will be serving. I'm curious if there will be any vegetables at all - maybe it will be like the all-you-can-eat-meat fest at Ohana.
