It's funny. She did something so simple.....but so generous and kind. It's probably going to sound "dumb" once everyone reads it in the TR, but it actually made me cry because I knew how important it was to the kids.

I don't want to build it up into this huge thing....but it was one of those Disney moments for us.

Now I'm really looking forward to the TR pilferk! popcorn::

But those small moments are what keep us going back, aren't they? :goodvibes

You are so right! :thumbsup2

...because my DS wants to go to DW with his GF in January (the end, because SHE is going for 3 days with her family - Dec 28-Jan 1) and now those points that my DS had saved up for US to go (remember that 3-day weekend that we were SUPPOSED to take for our 25th anniversary??) he wants to give them all to my DS.........ARGGGHHHH!!! :headache:

I SHOULD (that's the plan, anyway) have some pics, including decorations, uploaded and ready to post tomorrow. Gonna try to start my trippie, too.

I also have some Osbourne Family Lights pics that are slightly OT for this thread...but I know you all won't mind if I post 'em here to fulfill a promise I made awhile back.

:)

And FYI: They were SPECTACULAR. My favorite part of the whole trip was that night.

It wasn't, not by any means. It just wasn't our normal "perfect" Disney trip....some of that was Disney's fault, some of it was nobody's (the stomach bug!), and some of it was even ours.

But we DID have a good time. Especially the kids. We did so much, and really were able to spend some quality family time together, which is always great!

But I don't think we'll try it that time of year, again, til the kids are older...maybe 5 or 6 years from now, when our youngest is 6 or 7. To really get the most out of what we want to do for the time of year, next time, we need to be able to do a few more late nights..and the kids just can't do it right now. All they understand is "rides, attractions, and pool". We would have preferred to do a little more decoration peeping (which eldest DD DID enjoy), and seeing nighttime park offerings. We just couldn't do that with the wee ones. Both the two youngest start to peter out around 7 PM....being in the parks after that just leads to meltdowns. Fine for our "normal" trips. Not so hot for this time of year.

:)

oh -- okay. I can understand that. My youngest is 9 and can usually outlast all of us, so I think we'll be okay on that this year. I'm just covering us all up in hand sanitizer and spray lysol. :) I'm glad you still had a good time!
