AKL LITE II - We're #2, but we try harder....

...because my DS wants to go to DW with his GF in January (the end, because SHE is going for 3 days with her family - Dec 28-Jan 1) and now those points that my DS had saved up for US to go (remember that 3-day weekend that we were SUPPOSED to take for our 25th anniversary??) he wants to give them all to my DS.........ARGGGHHHH!!!

Hi everyone! I jsut got back from WDW last night! Although I didn't stay at AKL this time, I did visit for a few minutes on last Thursday to check out the decorations! They were awesome.

Welcome back! Can't wait to see pictures!

I SHOULD (that's the plan, anyway) have some pics, including decorations, uploaded and ready to post tomorrow. Gonna try to start my trippie, too.

I also have some Osbourne Family Lights pics that are slightly OT for this thread...but I know you all won't mind if I post 'em here to fulfill a promise I made awhile back.



And FYI: They were SPECTACULAR. My favorite part of the whole trip was that night.

Great! Can't wait to see them!! All I wanted to do last week was watch our video from the trip last year - especially the video of the Osbourne Lights - and I've been so out straight with work that I haven't had time. It's a shame when real life interferes with our obsessions...

We are not quite packed.... but almost! I had 19 recitals this week which left me with NO free time. I have waaaaay too many clothes in my suitcase and Bob has none in his. It will get finished tonight and he and I will take off between the storms tomorrow morning.

We plan to try to take an earlier flight out of Baltimore tomorrow and I will take lots and lots of pictures. I am not taking my laptop this trip so no pictures posted or completed TR until we return.

I will say hello to WDW on Christmas Day for you Flossbolna. It is lovely then.

It's coming down to the wire now......2 weeks today and God willing we will be relaxing at the lodge (the "original" lodge, that is )! I could worry about so many things...bad weather, somebody getting the dreaded flu bug, or worse, but I'm going to TRY to keep a positive outlook. I was doing fine until I was watching the weather channel this weekend with all our N.E. storms, and they freaked me out!
Can you believe we are just a few days from Christmas? Time truly does fly, don't you think?

I know, I know....I'm supposed to be posting pics.

And then...we got nailed by this stinking snowstorm(s), and all the time I was SUPPOSED to be spending posting pics and working on the TR was spent doing storm prep and snowblowing!!

I'm going to super duper massive try to post at least the lodge decoration pics and osborne pics either LATE tonight or sometime tomorrow. Depends on how work and the never-ending X-mas prep/baking goes.
