Lots of bad weather over Georgia yesterday evening (tornadoes, baseball-sized hail, etc. ) so I'm sure that messed with the airlines' schedules. Plus, better to be waiting on the ground than trying to fly around the nasty weather.

Hope they had a good flight home.

....they did have a little bit of turbulence, but nothing too terrible...the fog here was the worse part....still, we didn't get home till 2:35AM....

Thanks for all the dust everybody! It worked! Hope it's not too much of an anticlimax, but we just booked our 7 night (buy 4, get 3 free) for June with cheap airfare! I knew you guys would understand!

We wanted to go at Spring Break, but the airfare was outrageous. It's a "cheaper" trip, so we're at Pop not AKL. Can I still be a Jambo-er?

My DH said at lunch that he thought we might go ahead and book the June trip tonight. I wasn't sure if he'd go through with it (even though he wants to go almost as much as I do), so that's what the dust was for!

I also have a prayer request - Henry has been feeling icky lately, we took him to the doc this morning - he has mild/early stage of croup. It's nothing serious, but keeps us all up alllllllllllll night.

I'm too late for dust - but congrats on the trip!!!

I also have a prayer request - Henry has been feeling icky lately, we took him to the doc this morning - he has mild/early stage of croup. It's nothing serious, but keeps us all up alllllllllllll night.

Oh, poor Henry! My oldest DS used to get croup quite a bit when he was little. I have fond memories of sitting in the bathroom for hours with the hot shower running for steam! We ended up at the ER for treatments several times in the middle of the night. It can be very scary! Luckily they grow out of it - I don't think he had it at all after age 4 or so. I hope he's over it very soon!

Brook, I am so sorry that Henry is battling with croup. A friend's son had this and I understand that it is really unsettling for parents! I hope it stays as mild as it is and will dissapear as soon as possible!

Prayers for Henry. My youngest had croup when he was a toddler; we used to "steam" him in the bathroom at night to help him breathe. He also had a problem with coughing until he vomited when he was about 3 years old; he ended up on an inhaler for a few years. He is now almost 16 and only uses it when he runs or has a chest cold.
