AKL Level 1 rooms?

I was looking at the map of the AKL and I see that there is one small section by the pool and fitness center that has 12 level one rooms. Has anyone stayed in one of those rooms? These look like they are pool view rooms? Do they have a patio? I keep debating about staying at the AKL next month? I would be interested in a ground floor room. Balconies scare me with my little ones.

There is a post on page 2 called " We had a great STANDARD room at the AKL!" (I have no idea how to post a link, so you will have to look for it!) It gives a brief explanation of at least one of the 1st floor rooms. I hope this helps. We just returned from our 2nd visit to AKL and it is a beautiful resort. Good luck with your decision.
