AKL layout

I'm trying to get an idea of AKL layout so I can request a room. Lobby is on floor 3, correct? Buses you would have to go down to floor 1?
Which levels are the restaurants Boma and Mara on? Are they easily reached from the lobby? (We will have a stroller.)
And the pool and viewing rock area? Can these be reached from the lobby also?
I'm thinking I want to request any room near the lobby on that level.
Any opinions? Where are the elevators located within the trails? On the ends and/or middle?
I've heard if you're on the opposite side the hike to the buses can be long.
Thanks! Shan :)

from our trip last April. The lobby is on the 3rd floor along with the resort store. You go down a flight of stairs near the rear of the lobby to get to the Arusha Rock viewing area. You also go down a flight of stairs from the lobby to get to the lounge. Boma, Jiko, the food court and pool are down another level from the lounge (first floor). You get to the buses by exiting the lobby on the 3rd floor, turning left and walking down a slight incline to the bus stop, about 200 feet away or so. There are elevators to take you to all of the levels. I hope this is accurate and I hope it helps.
You can find an extensive description of the lodge at the following site: AKL Description

There are dedicated elevators between the Lobby and the two floors below it that you can use with the stroller.

Not quite. Lobby is on floor three, although parts are also on floor two. Busses are through the main entrance on floor three as well.

Boma and the Mara would be on one, there are ramps as well as elevators making access easy.

Yes, although you'd have to go down the stairs or take the elevator. The pool is on floor one on one of the sides of the hotel, the Arusha Rosk area is also on floor one out the back of the lobby.

Just keep in mind that on floor three you'll have either a long walk or a lot of foot traffic past your door. Yes, if you ar eon teh opposite side the walks to the bus or pools (they are on the same side) can be quite long, but the bus from the furthest point in any wing is a long walk, even the side of the hotel that the bus stop is on. We just got back from AKL, and our room was as far as you can go to the end of the hallway, but the walk was still manageable, and still shorter than the walk to the farthest room in some of the other resorts.

Thanks everyone. :) So even if you're on the wing, I think Giraffe? at the end you still have to walk back through the lobby to get out to the buses? Seems they would have an elevator and door there?
So everyone has to go this route to catch the bus?
Can anyone tell me where the elevators are located on the trails?
Is it just numerous elevators near the end of the trails going towards the lobby?
Shan :)
