AKL Kindani stairwell locations

I will be sending in a room request this week for a 1 bedroom savanna view. We want to be on the 3rd floor. We had rather take the stairs instead of elevator when possible. I can't find a map with stairwells listed.

Can someone help with explaining where the stairs are located?

Look for the six red AED signs along the wings, two are on either side of the lobby, and then there are two further along each wing. That is where the elevators are. Your room will be fairly near one of those elevators. The stairways are at the same places as the elevators.

Those elevators, other than two near the lobby, have names. The north wing is the left side of the map. The elevator that is between the second and third building units from the lobby on that wing is Rafiki. The one between the sixth and seventh building units is Pumba. On the south wing, the Timon elevator is the one between the second and third building units, and Zazu between the fifth and sixth building units. As far as requests go, you should request Sunset Savanna view if you want to see giraffes and zebras,
and consider requesting room near the Rafiki elevator for shortest trip to pool, or near the Timon elevator for shortest trip to the bus station. All requests should go through MS and do not use the request page of the online check-in pages. Avoid requesting close to lobby -- if you get it, it would be fine but most everybody requests close to lobby, resulting in many not getting the request and ending up far from lobby. Far from lobby is what most want to avoid. The building is about 2/3 mile long and being near the end of a wing results in having an extremely long walk to the lobby.
