AKL kid club

Does anyone have any experience @ AKL kid club. DH and I will be dining @ Jiko.

it was expensive but worth it. my kids didn't like jiko so i wish i would have used it then. they stayed for 3.5 hours ($10x3.5x2)
we used it for our CA Grill dinner & it was worth every penny. they colored, made crafts, watched a movie. we went in december & we didn't make the ressies in advance...that same day.

Used SImbas this past April.
We were at BCV and my kids begged to go in the Sandcastle Club didnt let them.
Then we went to AKL and they begged again.
Must be the Disney Cruise Club that got to them.

So the wife and I went to Jiko and let them go for a few hours.
A little expensive but the alone time at dinner was well worth it.
The Girls 8 and 5 had a blast.

We stayed at AKL for 6 nights about 10 days ago. First of all, you will love the lodge and will love Jiko's. It was really great. Our dd (6) went to Simba's for 2 hours the night we went to Jikos (we were going to go to Downtown Disney but it was POURING rain so we stayed at the lodge) and loved it!! There were only about 8 kids there that night and 2 or three caregivers. The fee for the childcare also includes dinner - kids and parents choose what they'd like to have when they check in. She did crafts, colored, and played with another girl. They also give the parents a pager when you drop off your child off so they can reach you if there is a problem of any sort. Hope this helps.
