in 257 days we will be enjoying our FIRST ever Disney Resort stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge! Are Magic Bands free for all resort guests? I booked online and I was asked for a shipping address - is that the reason? Thanks in advance!

Yes, all Disney resort guests receive Magic Bands free. They are used as room keys, purchasing items, dining plans etc. You can customize their colors on your disney account and closer to your date they will mail them to you, similar to when you sign up for Magical Express from the airport, they send you luggage rags closer to your arrival.
