Can someone confirm if the coffee makers in the DVC studios are still the basket style or have they been replaced with another type, ie. pod?

Basket type, flat bottom. Probably forever and ever, amen.

You'll probably get a 10-12 cup coffee maker. If you get the smaller one (4-6 cups) and want the larger, just call Housekeeping and they should be able to bring you a larger one.
