Any guesses on whether Disney announces another sold out resort with incentives after the current AKL incentives end tomorrow. I’m still to new to the game to know if there’s precedent for this or not.

Last cycle when SSR was on sale for a short time they didn't add any other resorts after it expired part way through.

If you are on the verge of buying. Just buy now, and should they come out with a new or better incentive tomorrow you can always ask them to redo the contract.

They have been doing incentives on sold out resorts often, so there is a chance yes. Id be sure to do the math to make sure it's really worth it vs resale.

This 100%! I almost added 150 direct points at AKV with this latest promotion. However, when I sat down and looked at the numbers, I just couldn't justify spending an extra $20,000 for blue card benefits. For our family, the value is just not there. I am back on the hunt for more resale points! lol

Was your math "AKV vs nothing" or "AKV direct vs AKV resale" (as suggested by the post you responded to)?

If looking vs resale, the "direct vs resale" difference should not be an extra $20K for 150 points. That'd be $~133/pt difference. Don't forget you also probably have the MB option, that may also make the loaded/stripping comparison vs resale more fair after you drop the price by an extra $20.
