AKL deluxe savannah room

Hi All,

We have reservations for a Deluxe Savannah Room at AKL over Easter. Do you think we need to request a particular area or savannah or are we pretty much guarenteed a good view with this type of room?

I would request the Arusha Savannah on Zebra Trail or Kudu Trail.
We were assigned to the Sunset Savannah on Ostrich Trail in Jan. and requested to be moved. We loved the Arusha Savannah! Also I believe it is the only savannah with NO people pens.

What the heck is a people pen???

People pens are very large fence enclosures that connect to the building. One would think they were for animals but actually they are for "people" in case the building needs to be evacuated. I guess people couldn't just exit out to the savannahs with the animals! Some people are not concerned about them, but my family did not particularly care for them. I am positve now that I think about it that the Arusha Savannah did not have them.
