AKL Construction Locations

I am planning a trip for Jan. to possibly the AKL. I am curious about the construction at the AKL. Can anyone explain or show on a map exactly where there is construction going on? According to Deb's website on her AKL fact sheet, she quotes a DVC rep that makes it sound like all outside construction is done and now there is only interior construction happening. But from the posts I am reading, people talk of being able to see the construction from their rooms. So could someone please explain exactly where the construction is happening and it's impact on views, etc?

By the time you travel in January, all the construction in the main hotel (Jambo House) will be complete. Right now. there is the conversion going on there from some hotel rooms to DVC rooms. That will all be completed by Dec. of this year.

The exterior construction is coming from the new Kidani Village. This is also DVC. It will be a huge separate property. As you face the entrance to AKL, it would be off to the far left. So rooms along the trails that way may or may not be afftected by the construction.

Hi, we were there a few weeks ago and had a view of the outside construction. As best as I can tell they are clearing the land right now. It was hard to tell exactly what they were doing, fortunately, because of the trees. We were on Kudu Trail, Sunset Savanna. As far as I could tell, every room facing sunset savanna will be able to see some construction. This was our view.
