AKL Concierge

Alrite, before everyone goes nutsy, I know there is a HUGE concierge thread already available, but there's SOOO many pages.

We are staying AKL Concierge at the end of this month for a week and I was wondering what are things that others have requested that have been honored? We have two room and it is my 21st birthday and my Aunt's 40th birthday exactly when we are there. This is our first time concierge and I don't want to get home and then hear about all the things other people got while they were there and it's no one's fault but mine.

Also, I'm not the kind of person to take a list in and say "Do all this, you have for other people" or to even expect them to do all of it for me. I'm just looking for suggestions to make sure that this is an unforgettable trip.

Request a room without a partially blocked view (some rooms on fifth floor have a large overhanging roof which partially blocks your view, but the views are the best areas. Since you're there a week, schedule the Sunrise and/or the Sunset Safari. Also, have concierge book you in for a backstage tour of the Animal Kingdom. Schedule at least one of your meals at Jiko-The Cooking Place. Ask the concierge staff if they still do cooking demos on Fridays. Have the banana smoothie at the lounge. Enjoy the cappacino machine! Oh yes, remember to have a good time.
