We currently have a reservation at AKV for 12/26-12/31 and I have the opportunity to try to change to an AKV concierge room next week. I know from experience that some extra events around Animal Kingdom Lodge get canceled around Christmas and I wondering if the safari is one of them. AFAIK the safari only runs on Thursdays and Sundays (right?) so my dates would be 12/27 or 12/30. If we can't book the safari, then I would be less likely to pay the extra 19 points to stay concierge and have only a 50% chance of a savannah view.
