AKL Concierge room vs Savannah View room ?

We were waitlisted for a AKL concierge studio Aug 23-28 and it came through!!! Now my concern is will we miss seeing the animals on the Savannah also knowing that Kidani will be open at that time should we split our reservation and spend a couple of days there? We will also be going to BCV for 6 more days after our AKV trip.

If you're willing to move, that's what you could do, split between concierge and Kidani. I would stay in concierge. I like Jambo, and considering it's not an easy reservation to get, I would be happy I got it, no regrets.

Congratulations on getting your waitlist!!

If you don't mind me asking...when did you get on the waitlist for concierge?

I had called on the 23rd of Jan. (7 m window) and was told AKLC was not available so I booked a regular savannah view room in Kidani and waitlisted the other. I called again on the 27th and was as able to get the 27th & 28th concierge studio room still waitlisted for the 23-27. I called to book BCV on the 29th for the next 6 nights and was told my waitlist came through. Still not sure what to do about keeping all 6 ngts or giving up two ngts for a savannah view. I am already switching rooms once to go to BCV's but I know my son (age 12) likes the savannah view and I like the idea of trying out Kidani village.
