Ok, does anyone know if AKL has Christmas Decorations?
If so, does anyone have a link to some pictures?

Hi Tina-

As far as I know, all the resorts decorate for the holidays. Disney does everything in a big way... Christmas is no different! I think Janet2K had some great pictures of AKL at Christmas. Try a search!

AKL does decorate for Christmas, and it it really gorgeous. We stayed there this January, arriving on the 5th, and were pleasantly surprised to see Christmas decorations still up. It was a real treat. They even had a little African gingerbread village down by Boma - so cute.

Contrary to what Erin stated, my pictures aren't that great but they're certainly better than nothing! Here's a link to mine of the AKL from last Christmas: click here to view them. I seem to remember Ted & Holly having excellent ones (and the first ones that I saw of the AKL decorated in holiday style). I don't have the link to them but maybe someone else does and can post it here.

If you're really in the holiday spirit and want to treat yourself to something magical, consider booking a suite. There was a beautiful Christmas tree in our parlor room that was decorated in African style. Here are some photos of it:

Thank you so much for the link to the Holiday photos. Christmas is my very favorite time of year. Even though it's 95 degrees right now I wish I could go up into the attic and break out the Christmas decorations

My two DD's really loved the pictures. Especially the ones of the CR. We are staying there for the first time this December. It's also our first time visiting WDW during Christmas and New Years Come on December....I can't wait.
