AKL Buses-Dispatch on demand?

Any other "just returned " AKL visitors -can you give details on this new system that another poster had in his AKL review?It sounds like the buses do not run regularly,but get called for when needed???????

The only time there was a cast member at the bus stop was very early in the morning. There is no way they can see who is at a bus stop. It may be true, but we never waited long for a bus. Once of the times we did wait a was when there were about 20 of us waiting to go to DTD. Other buses came for other destinations that had just a coupel of people waiting. I can tell you that the evening we went to Epcot, we stopped at AK and BB . I know it was closing time for AK and that was probably why. I found the bus service to be very good. At least there was only one stop at the resort. You can't compare this resort to Mk or Ecpot resorts. The rates are much cheaper. The resort, however, is breathtaking!

We were there in August and had the same experience as susy. We never waited more than 10 min even though there were only 5 or 10 people waiting. Many times on the return bus we we the only ones on the bus. The bus service here was much better than the service at the BC and BW, we routinely waited 30-45 min for our buses there and they were always full when we got on them.
