Is there enough room in a Pool view bunkbed room for an inflatable twin air mattress? If os, where would you put it? Thanks!

WE had a bunkbed room last year- and I don't think there is an ideal place for another mattress unless it was over by the closet/sink area. You might be able to fit between the queen bed and the bunks, but no one would be able to walk in that area. If it was by the sinks, you might not be able to get to the bathroom unless it was tucked under the sinks!

We stayed at WL in a bunkbed room (same size as room at AKL) and honestly I don't think there's enough room. Anywhere you would put the mattress would block access to something, either the bunkbeds or the bathroom. I guess as long as no one needs the bathroom after lights out, you might make it work.

You do realize that only 4 people are allowed in that room, right? Are two people not wanting to share the queen bed?

Yes, no one wants to or should share. My ds9 is very big for his age and he gets it from Mom and Dad. DH is 6'6 and he will take the queen all by himself. Well put the two kids in the bunkbeds and I'll sleep on the air mattress. For one night we'll make it work. I thought that the bunkbed room would our best bet there. Thanks!

We've stayed in the bunk rooms at both AKL & WL & vowed never, ever again! They are TIGHT and I swear those bunk beds are smaller than normal twin sized beds. One of my sons has a twin bed at home & he hung off the end of it in WDW!

Totally agree with the other posters. That would be tight and you'd be walking on/over it. The sink/closet area near the entrance would be the best area and that says it all.

I really don't think there is enough room between the beds. Maybe, but the air mattress would need to be kind of narrow & really wedged in between the beds. The bunk bed people could get in and out of bed easily (there is room between the bed and the wall for the bottom bunk person & the ladder is at the foot of the bed for the top bunk person), but the queen bed person would have to hop over the air mattress (if the mattress would fit). I don't think there would be enough room at the foot of the beds b/c of the table, chairs and dresser/tv cabinet. I'm thinking the entry/bathroom might be your best bet.

We actually did that, pool view, bunk bed room for my young daughter who was no longer sleeping in a crib. While she was small, it was a standard twin mattress. The only place it worked was in the "entryway" of the room basically blocking the walk into the bathroom. If anyone got up at night we would have to climb over her. If for only one night, it would work (although I'd be putting a kid on the floor :confused3 ) but I wouldn't want to do it for a longer stay.
